In my work And it came to pass in those days (Es begab sich aber zu der Zeit) I document the Catholic customs and religious holidays in my hometown in Lower Bavaria. In this photo series I provide insights into a religious life that’s shaped by tradition, community, and both old and new rituals.
The photo series And it came to pass in those days was part of the group exhibition Believe during the European Month of Photography 2025 (EMOP). Presented at Sankt Studio in Berlin, the exhibition brought together works by four artists from the photography collective _ebene, exploring diverse interpretations of faith through long-term documentary projects and live performances.
